Ana answers the phone with scissors in her hand. Bookings live in a paper diary, changes mean crossing things out, and every no-show is an empty chair she can’t fill in time.

After

Now clients book, move and cancel in the app, and a reminder goes out the day before. The diary is gone, and the front desk looks up from the phone.
